The Waves
Because El Salvador’s surf scene is still in its early stages, many remote areas remain untouched and beautifully isolated. Our workshop focuses on two of these regions, allowing our surfers to ride perfect waves with minimal distractions and minimal crowd.
November falls within El Salvador’s shoulder season, offering near-perfect surf conditions across the board. Expect long hours of light offshore winds, fewer rainy days, and consistent wave heights ranging from waist-high to overhead.
Water temperatures stay ideal throughout the season, ranging between 25–29°C (77–84°F), so there’s no need for wetsuits.
Punta Mango & Las Flores
A pristine, dreamlike region in southern El Salvador where we’ll spend the second half of the workshop.
Just a 3-minute walk from the casa leads you to a legendary point break—often considered one of the best right-hand waves in Central America. It features an exciting takeoff, a fast yet open face, and long, consistent, perfectly peeling lines that are incredibly photogenic.
In most swells, intermediate and advanced surfers will score some of the best waves of their lives here. During larger swells, the wave becomes steeper and more hollow, offering a variety of dynamic sections.
When conditions get more challenging, we’ll shift to nearby, more forgiving breaks—one of them is Las Flores, a long and consistent right (up to 300 meters!), suitable for all types of boards and styles.
Overall, with the typical swells of the season, this region offers excellent conditions for surfers of all levels to truly express their surfing.
El Tunco & La Paz
A wave-rich region in central El Salvador where we’ll spend half of the workshop days. The coastline here is lined with long, high-quality point breaks, each with its own unique character.
Our casa is set right on a bay that hosts one of the most consistent waves in the country. From your room, you’ll have a direct view of a long, powerful right-hand wave breaking across two sections. It starts faster and more hollow at the outer point (Punta Roca), then transitions into a softer, slower, and perfectly peeling wave in the inner bay (La Paz).
The long, open face offers ideal conditions for performance surfing as well as nose riding.
Just a 20-minute drive from the casa, we’ll also access additional world-class breaks like K59 and K61—spots that are often completely uncrowded, giving us rare opportunities to surf them at their best.
Accommodation
During our stay in El Salvador, we’ll be based in two stunning beachfront locations—La Paz and Punta Mango.
A variety of high-quality point breaks are located just minutes from our premium resorts. In addition, we’ll have access to vehicles and boats, allowing us to reach more remote spots and fine-tune our wave selection—maximizing every session based on the conditions.

For the remaining 5 days of the workshop, we’ll stay at Punta Mango Surf Resort—a boutique surfer’s paradise set on a raw, untouched stretch of coastline, about a 3.5-hour drive from the airport. From your room’s terrace, you can watch the point and choose the perfect moment to paddle out.
